Atlantis Barn, Devon

Atlantis Barns is a detached barn conversion in Devon. Due to poor application, the new lime render that had been installed was failing, with evidence of hairline cracks. The owner asked Dan Taylor of Prestige Decorators to help rectify the problem. His solution was to use KEIM.

KEIM Royalan Dilution was used as the first coat onto the lime render. KEIM Contact Plus was then feathered out to equalise areas of repair to the render. KEIM Royalan Grob was applied to the southwest corner where the hairline cracks were evident. Finally, the KEIM Royalan system, in colour 9292, was recommended due to the location of the project. KEIM Royalan has been designed to withstand harsh weather conditions and is recommended for coastal properties.
