The Mirage, Vallance Gardens, Hove
The Mirage, Vallance Gardens in Hove is a sea-facing block of flats, opposite the King Alfred Leisure complex. It is just a short walk to the shops and Hove Railway Station. The existing through-coloured render was in poor condition and suffering from damage, cracking and premature algae and fungal growth – problems we find common with through-coloured render finishes and especially in such an exposed location. To resolve the issues, we specified a coat of KEIM Fixativ to consolidate the existing surface followed by a two-coat application of KEIM Royalan which will withstand the harsh weather conditions in such a costal position.
