Brantwood House, Coniston, Lake District
Brantwood is an historic house, museum and vibrant centre for the arts in the Lake District in Cumbria, overlooking Coniston Water. It was built in the late 18th Century and was the home of many important people, including John Ruskin, the leading English art critic of the Victorian era.
The finish of Brantwood is a roughcast render and it was decorated in 2004 using the KEIM Granital paint system. These photos were taken in the 2016 and 2017 and show how the coating has remained in excellent condition even in such an exposed position in one of the wettest areas of the UK.
