Existing paint coatings were removed from the render prior to redecorating with KEIM Granital to ensure the best performance from the system. Whilst it is possible to apply KEIM Mineral Paints over existing coatings, stripping the surfaces allows the paint to chemically bond with the render, giving unparalleled performance.
KEIM Granital allows the substrate to breathe, in excess of 96% moisture vapour permeability, as well as the other inherent benefits of a mineral paint system.
