Edwardian House Transformation – Playroom
After moving with her family to an Edwardian house in Lewes, Rhonda wanted to bring the “rather shabby” property back to life using KEIM Mineral Paints. Up first was the playroom, a formerly grey space which Rhonda wanted to transform into a creative and uplifting space for the children to play. “I wanted our kids to be drawn to the space, I wanted them to be excited to use their playroom. But I also wanted an elegant space and I knew the house can take a bold colour.”
After discussing colour options with KEIM, Rhonda selected the bold 9002 for the walls and complimentary 9314 for the ceiling, both in KEIM Optil. After sending us the amazing photos of the end result, Rhonda commented “I wish these photos could capture how happy this room makes us. 9002 is fabulous – the sheer depth of pigment is amazing. It’s so deliciously spicy! My daughter is delighted, she squealed when she saw it and spent the rest of the day in there arranging her toys into the new storage and playing. I want more and more people to know about this wonderful paint!”
