In the rural area of Huntley stands this Grade II listed manor house which has been painted with KEIM Paints. The front elevation and extension had recently been re-rendered with a new smooth lime render due to cracking of the existing sand and cement render. The side elevation had been painted in KEIM in 2014 and the architect, McDowell Surveyors Ltd, was pleased with the results so specified KEIM for the remaining facades.
The KEIM Granital system was used throughout the project. KEIM Granital Dilution was applied onto the lime render, followed by KEIM Granital Grob and KEIM Granital White over all surfaces. The decorator, Darren at NP Satherley Decorators Ltd, was a first-time user of KEIM and thought the KEIM Granital Grob was an excellent product in equalising the surface textural differences. He commented that he was “very impressed with the opacity of the top coat”.
