Royal Apartments, Dundee

Royal Apartments in Dundee is a Grade B Listed building. It was constructed in earlier 19th century as a Royal Hotel. The Royal Apartments were originally decorated in KEIM Granital in 1994 and now it has been decorated with a more modern paint system called KEIM Soldalit. There was evidence of dirt deposits on the banding details, which was then running onto the façade causing staining. We recommended the use of KEIM Lotexan onto the flat areas of the bands to help with water ‘shedding’ and subsequent dirt build up.
