Their site at South Street, Dorking was originally built in 1961 and was one of their most successful outside of London.
Barbara, KEIM’s Senior Sales Executive for the South East of England, visited the project in January 2026 and noted that the exterior elevation of the building, which was previously rendered, was in need of major repairs as the existing render was delaminating.
Staining, algae growth and surface dirt were also exhibited in areas throughout the substrate.
After carrying out patch repairs with KEIM Uniputz 1.3, these areas were coated with KEIM Soldalit Grob, the edges were feathered and blended to disguise the repairs and achieve a uniform appearance.
A two-coat application of KEIM Soldalit in white was then applied over the whole surface to create a long-lasting, durable finish.
